So You Want to Be a Director

On the heels of the spectacular success of Our Town at the Edge Center this spring, artistic director Patricia Feld has decided it’s a good time to hand the directorial baton to successors.  In an effort to develop a cadre of local directors, Patty and producer Valerie Conner are offering an opportunity to experience directing a play for presentation on the Edge stage this summer. 

They will be working with six to eight aspiring directors throughout the spring to guide each of them to  the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to present an entertaining one act play.  Each “student” will attend classroom settings to gain knowledge as well as select and direct his/her individual one act play.  This is your chance to learn from the pro.  If you are interested in learning the finer points of directing and experiencing hands-on community theatre, contact Patty at pfeld25@yahoo.com by Monday, January 22, 2024 for more information and to sign up.
