April 2026

The Edge Center for the Arts hosted some great events over the winter!   This included an awesome Christmas at The Edge to a packed audience, the Polar Revue Talent Show to benefit Bigfork’s Ebb & Flow Dance group, a play reading for J.B. Priestley’s An Inspector Calls, the popular Classic Movie nights, and more. The Gallery’s permanent collection was also on display during events.

Looking forward, we have lots coming to this wildly unexpected arts center!  In April, “Mister Roberts” (1955) will be the featured Classic Movie, and Piatigorsky will delight with a performance of classical music.  Student artwork will adorn the walls of the Gallery in May, and EdgeWild Players will bring An Inspector Calls to the stage.   June brings musical performances by Caleigh and Third Coast Chamber Collective and, in the Gallery, a boldly unexpected taxidermy exhibit to delight the Wilderness communities.  July features the exciting return of Stages Theatre Company with a performance of Shrek the Musical - TYA version during Bigfork’s Wilderness Days celebration, with an exhibit of Craig Blacklock’s internationally renown nature and abstract photography in the Gallery.  Join us for these and many other events this summer, a wildly unexpected season of events in our Edge of the Wilderness community!

All this is possible due to many dedicated volunteers and to your generous financial donations. Like any non-profit, The Edge Center has monetary needs and bills. One of these needs was a new sound and lighting system, which came with a Blandin Foundation grant and a local donor’s contribution.  But of course, there are always ongoing administrative costs for insurance, supplies, a part-time salary, day-to-day affairs, and promotion. We consistently make efforts to obtain various grants for our expenses, but grantors do require evidence of substantial commitment from our community also.  We need your continued financial support in 2026!  Our budget requires $15,000 to bring you what you love.

So, we have much in store as we launch the 2026 season!  Stay on top of it all by following us on Facebook and checking back here on our website.  This is also where you can donate (click the button below). The Edge Center cannot exist without your support—we are very grateful to you for choosing us as you consider your passions and your budget for the rest of the year.

Gratefully,

Tina, Jane, Lynn, and Patty for all the volunteers!

We would not be the vibrant theatre and gallery we are without your continued support! Please click the button below to make your secure online donation.
