We at The Edge are a bit “on edge”

Why?  Because tough and uncertain times affect nonprofit organizations – including nonprofits, like ours, that actually provide entertainment and relief from tough and uncertain times! You may share many of the sentiments in comments we’ve recently been proud to receive:

“I went to an AMAZING concert at the Edge last night.  Sam Miltich and his group were playing New Music from the Old Country.  It is still resonating in me.”

“Thank you!!!  It was a very fun, different, and delightful evening!  Bravo!”

“The Sketches event at the Edge last night was so thought provoking.  It showed me that we can be optimistic … work with each other … listen and learn … get to know our neighbors … and help those in need.  The Improv group was spectacular … really listened to what we had to say … and did a wonderful job of bringing out the humor.  … We need the humor!  Thank you for bringing this to our community!”

The Edge remains dedicated to uniting and strengthening our communities as evidenced by the breadth of our events and representative comments such as these.

Thanks to generous grants from the Blandin Foundation and an anonymous donor our little gem of a theatre and art gallery now boasts a new sound system, new lighting, a new movie screen and projector, and assistive hearing capacity.  But:  In order for us to meet our day-to-day Operating/Administrative Expenses we must also rely on the consistent generosity from as many of our patrons and friends as possible.

If you have donated in the past we thank you again and most sincerely hope that you can continue doing so.  If you have not donated before but have enjoyed any of our art exhibits, art classes, music events, theatrical productions, free classic movies, or the opportunities we offer local students please consider helping us in these tough and uncertain times.

As this year ends, we know that we’ll be on solid ground for next year’s budget if we are able to raise $15,000.  Success will mean that we Edge volunteers need not be “on edge” about what we can continue to deliver for our Northwoods communities.

Thank you for anything you can contribute – and we hope you enjoy a safe and happy holiday season with your family, friends, and community.

Gratefully,

Tina, Jane, Lynn, and Patty for all the volunteers!

We would not be the vibrant theatre and gallery we are without your continued support! Please click the button below to make your secure online donation.
