Charlie Chaplin wrote, directed, and stars in the comedy "The Great Dictator" (1940), a smash hit at a time in the USA when WWII had broken out in Europe and, in the United States, seemed increasingly possible. Charlie plays "Adenoid Hynkel," a parody of Adolf Hitler, and comedian Jack Oakie struts around as "Benzino Hapaloni," who is a much overplayed imitation of Mussolini. Join us for a lively presentation of this movie, along with light refreshments, at The Edge Center Theatre in Bigfork, MN - FREE admission!
