In these uncertain times, it may be comforting to look back to a simpler time.  Our own Jerald Barber charts that journey.  He has created a town in Northern Minnesota that bears a striking resemblance to Bigfork and its environs in the form of a series of radio plays in postwar North Woods.  Bob Nelson, the main character, is a kind, gentle soul who saw more than anyone should have in the war.  Back home, he married the prettiest, smartest girl in town and attempts to readjust to civil and civilian life.
